Bottlenose Dolphin Current Research: Signature Whistles

Scientists photograph and record dolphins that can be identified by unique markings.  Every bottlenose dolphin also has a signature whistle. Dolphins spending more time together sometimes copy each other’s whistles. Touch on the two photographs to hear how dolphin FB65 copies dolphin F228's whistle.
