North Pacific Right Whale Conservation Update: Smallest Whale Population
There are two populations of North Pacific right whales. There may be as many as 900 western Northern Pacific whales. The eastern North Pacific population, however, is estimated at only 30 individuals and is the smallest population of whales in the world.
