Vaquita Porpoise: Species Fact

The vaquita porpoise is the world’s smallest and most endangered marine mammal species. Over the last 20 years there has been a rapid decline in vaquita population size, decreasing from almost 700 individuals in 1993 to 30 in 2016. Efforts are currently underway to save the last remaining Vaquita.
